First Quarter 2023 Report
As we approach April now is an excellent chance to look back on the first quarter of the year. I am extremely pleased to say that we have achieved every one of our goals! Our citizens have knocked it out of the park and delivered some great results.
Political
Goal One: Complete: At the end of 2022, we engaged in diplomatic talks with a number of micronations. Whilst many of them would disband their nations or cease communications with us, a few did end up continuing discussions on possible treaties. We now have two serious contenders who are either finalizing treaties or reviewing drafts we have sent them. Furthermore, in the most recent Assembly session, we passed a treaty of mutual recognition with the Xindapist People’s Commonwealth.
Goal Two: Complete: With the creation and ratification of the Micronational Convention on Chemical and Biological Weaponry, this Administration has begun its 2023 legislative agenda in earnest. A special thanks to all the citizens of Vladastock who made this convention possible; only through your efforts are such things possible.
Community
Goal One: Complete: The seventh episode of World Lounge was made and released! It was wonderful catching up with Navarch Travis and Assembly Member Jack!
Goal Two: Complete: The tenth Community Event proved to be exceptionally insightful! The feedback generated from that night was critical to the making of the Micronational Convention on Chemical and Biological Weaponry.
Goal Three: Complete: Vladastock was built and maintained by persons of Chinese descent. We will always celebrate the rich culture of China! Therefore, making an address to commemorate Chinese New Year was a pleasure!
Recruitment
Goal One: Complete: The leadership of the Rainbow Republic promises to hold a vote on joining the Vladastock Confederation once they return to active Micronationalism.
Goal Two: Complete: Through the increased use of social media channels, word of the Vladastock Confederation is spreading throughout the Micronational community. Indeed, this month saw a nearly 200% increase in visits to our website!
Goal Three: Complete: Arapujá, which is now being replaced by its successor nation of Xingu joined our Confederation as a Member State. We are extremely proud to welcome them into our family and look forward to working alongside their citizens!
Conclusion
Overall, the first quarter has been great for the Vladastock Confederation! Eight out of eight goals achieved! I want to thank each and every one of our citizens for their tireless work reaching this milestone! You are all amazing and have my deepest gratitude. Long live the Vladastock Confederation!
