Treaty ratified with the Free Nation of New Athens

At the last Assembly Session, amongst the motions calling for a new election; a mutual recognition and friendship treaty was ratified with the Free Nation of New Athens.

New Athens’ values of Liberty, Brotherhood, and Solidarity are shared by our Confederation, making them natural friends to our peoples and state. We are honored to be friends with such a developed Micronation; which boasts a functioning economy and global presence.

Within the treaty, both the Vladastock Confederation and the Free Nation of New Athens have pledged to avoid overt aggression in their foreign policies and to uphold the United Nations Charter in regards to maintaining international peace and prosperity.

We hope that our friendship serves as an example of peaceful relations, and encourages other Micronations to avoid the pitfalls of conflict and petty squabbles.
