World Day Against Child Labour 2022

June 12 is World Day Against Child Labour, today we recommit to ending Child Labour across the world. The last two decades has seen a remarkable decline in the number of children forced to work; however, the fight still goes on as the pandemic has placed enormous economic stain on families across the world; resulting in kids having to work. 160 million children are still forced to work at the cost of their emotional, mental, and educational development.

Around the world, we must commit to increasing social protections and welfare programs that allow for children to go to school. As consumers we must choose those products that are ethically sourced and produced.

Only together can we end the scourge of Child Labour once and for all, consigning it to the dustbin of history where it belongs.
