Children's Liberty and Care Act Passed!

Today at 12:55 am Australian Eastern Standard Time, the Children’s Liberty and Care Act was passed! This law mandates extensive child protection requirements for both the Confederation and Member States governments. It also requires that early childhood care and education be accessible to all citizens of Vladastock. Inspired by the recent political efforts to supress education in the United States, the Children’s Liberty and Care Act ensures that no libraries will be subject to censorship.

This law has been in the works for months now; representing a major policy victory for this current administration. The process of crafting this law began with a Community Event last year. After which an extensive period of research was undertaken as the law was being drafted. Finally, Deputy Premier Xavier reviewed the law and made extensive changes. This was invaluable as Xavier works in early childhood education; thus, he has first-hand experience on the issues affecting children and their families.

The Premier had this to say on the passing of the law “Today, with the passing of this act, we forever cement the rights of children within our union. We ensure that children may grow with dignity; that they will be in families that care for them and aid their development. Children are the foundation of our species and as such deserve rigorous protection. I am immensely proud of all our citizens who helped contribute to this act. This act proves that our administration and party will never yield in the fight for greater liberties, we will never allow the vulnerable to be silenced, and we will never allow criminals to act with impunity.”.

This administration wishes to extend its thanks to the following people for making this law possible: First Lady Joyce, Deputy Premier Xavier, King Andrew the Second, Assembly Member Jack, Assembly Member Sean and Supreme Court Judge George. May our children grow in peace and happiness.
