DSCP wins Election, announces new era for Vladastock
Whilst the American election has been dominating the news, a far less chaotic election took place. The Vladastock Confederation’s elections on the 31st of October, where over 60% of the electorate voted for the Democratic Socialist Confederation Party.
Having fulfilled their administration’s mandate, the voters choose the DSCP for another term; securing their hold over both the Assembly and Office of the Premier. This victory was accompanied by the announcement of the Three Point Plan, that of Community, Art and Action.
Community: The DSCP pledges to involve the citizenry more in affairs of state, by organising community meetings where citizens can bring forth any concerns or laws they wish enacted. These meetings will also present a number of political scenarios which will help guide the government’s policy making.
Art: The Confederation has many citizens with artistic talents, the DSCP promises to help support these abilities in service to our democratic cause. The production of videos and other media will increase.
Action: Real world action is what matters at the end of the day. To that end the DSCP will begin environmental clean up days, blood donation drives and other acts of charity.
With this new administration the DSCP hopes to further the causes of our democratic union, and make the world a better place to live in. This new mandate has received bi-partisan support in both the Assembly and the States.
As Frank Sinatra once sung, “the best is yet to come”.
