Celebrating International Women’s Day

Today is International Women’s Day, it is important to remember that the struggle for Women’s Rights is still an on-going fight requiring the support of all our citizens. For over 80,000 years of recorded Human History, Women have been critical to our collective success; despite often being written out of historical narratives and facing numerous barriers imposed by Men.

Indeed, in our own Confederation one of our Founders; Gobby was instrumental in the reform process that led to the creation of the Confederation in 2018. More recently the wonderful First Lady of the Confederation helped secure much needed improvements to the Military by negotiating a settlement between the Confederation Government and the Aovikland Government, breaking a stalemate that was rapidly deteriorating.

May this day serve as a reminder that the struggle carries on and that the liberation of Humanity cannot be achieved without the liberation of Women everywhere.

In Solidarity,

Premier William Alexander
