Whaling and Whale Captivity Abolition Act 2021
The Vladastock Confederation on the 6th of February officially banned the practice of Whaling and the keeping of whales in captivity. Whales are hereby classified as non-human intelligent beings; that are deserving of life and freedom. This extends to all types, variants and subdivisions of whales.
The only exemption to these new rules is Aboriginal Whaling practices which are of a fundamentally different character than commercial whaling as it is for the purpose of subsistence.
This Act was passed alongside the Destroy White Supremacy Act, both of which were passed unanimously.
