First Writing Competition results are in!
The first Confederation writing competition is complete; with three submissions entered. The First Lady Joyce, The Deputy Premier and the Premier all submitted poems for this contest. Connor was the judge of the competition and had this to say on the matter.
“I would like to preface this by saying that this was a very challenging decision. I feel that each of these submissions were up to a very high standard, and I would like to say that I believe each author is a winner here. I thoroughly enjoyed reading each and every submission and hope to hear more from these authors in the future.”
In first place, comes the First Lady Joyce with her brilliant poem on Covid and the global battle against it.
In second place comes the Deputy Premier Xavier, whose work “what unites us” takes a fantastic look at the common bond found within people.
Finally, the Premier’s poem on World Federalism and the future of our Confederation took third place.
The winning poem shall be published on Gaia News for all to see. It was widely agreed that another competition should take place, details will be posted here on Gaia News.
A big thank you to Connor and to our wonderful writers.
